Location, including in the background: precise GPS position and speed, collected even when the app is closed or not in use. This powers the app’s core feature: detecting when you drive past a participating billboard.
Account data: your email address, used to create and secure your account.
Device data: a device identifier and push notification token, used to deliver rewards and service notifications to your phone.
Reward activity: which billboards you passed and when, and which rewards you received and redeemed.
How we use it
To detect billboard passes and deliver rewards to your in-app Vault, immediately when your phone has coverage, or as soon as coverage returns, stamped with the actual pass time.
To show merchants and billboard owners aggregate, anonymized performance metrics (for example, total passes per billboard). These reports never identify individual users.
To operate, debug, and improve the service.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your location history or personal data to anyone.
We do not share individual location data with advertisers or data brokers.
Your controls
You can revoke location permission at any time in your phone’s settings; the app then cannot detect passes.
You can delete your account and its data from the Profile screen in the app, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Billboard Bounty mobile utility ("Application", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.2. LICENSE GRANT & USAGE
Billboard Bounty grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial commute utility strictly in accordance with this agreement.3. DRIVER SAFETY & ZERO-DISTRACTION MANDATE
The Application is designed as a passive, background utility. You explicitly agree and acknowledge:
- You will NOT interact, view, tap, or manipulate the Application or device screen while operating a motor vehicle.
- The phone must remain securely mounted or stowed while driving.
- All reward reviews, voucher views, and redemptions must take place strictly while your vehicle is parked safely in a stationary position.
- Billboard Bounty assumes zero liability for traffic violations, accidents, personal injury, or negligence resulting from unlawful device operation.4. REWARDS, VOUCHERS & REDEMPTION
- Digital vouchers unlocked via highway corridor passage or active Bounty zones carry zero independent cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency.
- Vouchers are promotional credits redeemable strictly at participating independent partner storefronts (e.g., local cafes, restaurants, and retail partners).
- Participating merchants reserve the exclusive right to establish redemption conditions, expiration parameters, and quantity limitations.5. LOCATION SERVICES & SENSORS
To deliver automated corridor rewards, the Application requires continuous background GPS telemetry access. Disabling location permissions will suppress the automated voucher issuance pipeline.6. TERMINATION & ACCOUNT WIPE
